Man hit and killed by train

PARKSVILLE, POLK COUNTY, TN (WRCB) - Channel 3 has confirmed first responders are on the scene of a fatal train accident in Polk County.

Dispatchers confirm a man was hit by a CSX train near the Davis Curbow Bridge on Highway 411 South.

It is unknown why the man was on the tracks.

The accident happened about 9pm Saturday.
