CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) - Chattanooga Police have arrested Jeremy Summers, son of Catoosa County Sheriff Phil Summers.

Chattanooga Police, Fire, and Hamilton County EMS were dispatched to an active shooter call at Buehler's Market.

The caller told dispatchers that shots were fired and people had been shot.

When officers arrived, a witness told them the call was not factual.  The witness also reported Summers as the caller.

When officers located Summers he admitted to making the false report.

Jeremy Summers, age 28, was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication, False Reports, Abuse of the 911 System, Criminal Impersonation and Commission of Acts of Terrorism.

Channel 3 obtained the first copy of the 911 recording on Monday.

DISPATCHER: 911, what's the location of your emergency?

SUMMERS: Uh, yeah, I 'm right here on West 5th Street and Market and uh, there's been a shooting.

DISPATCHER: Where is the suspect at?

SUMMERS: He ran.

This is not the first time Summers has been in trouble with the law.

According to Channel 3 archives, Summers was first arrested in 2004 for driving under the influence.

He served five days in jail and lost his license for a year.

Charges of a third DUI were dropped in 2005.

Then in 2006 Summers was arrested for stealing pizza and a CD from a car. A judge revoked his bond, sending him straight to the Silverdale Workhouse.

Ultimately, he pleaded guilty to vandalism and malicious mischief and received probation.
