DUNLAP, SEQUATCHIE COUNTY, TN (WRCB) A Sequatchie County Commissioner stands accused of soliciting a minor.
34 year old Barney Slatton was arrested Friday night at the Sequatchie-Marion County High School football game.
Dunlap police and the TBI launched an investigation against Slatton, after they learned he gave a 17 year old girl a cell phone and was sending her sexually suggestive texts.
Authorities monitored as they say Slatton approached the girl at the football game and asked for sex.
Slatton is charged with solicitation of a minor and sexual battery.
He was released, after posting a 15-thousand dollar bond.
He's due in court next month.
Officers suspect there may be additional victims.
