Jefferson Awards for Public Service
Since 1972, The Jefferson Awards serve as a "Call to Action for Volunteers" in local communities on a local and national level. The WRCB Channel 3, Chattanooga Times Free Press, and First Tennessee Bank have teamed up with the Jefferson Awards for Public Service, to honor Chattanooga's local volunteers who do extraordinary things for their community, their nation or the environment.

Selection Process and Awards
Selection process and awards: A panel of judges will review the nominations and decisions will be made based on information submitted and verified. Should a nominee receive multiple nominations, only one nominating essay will be reviewed by the judges.
