NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Almost 600 Tennessee National Guard soldiers are scheduled to return home this weekend after a yearlong deployment to Iraq.
Soldiers from the 1-230th Air Cavalry helicopter squadron will be arriving Saturday and Sunday at the National Guard's Volunteer Training Site in Smyrna.
The soldiers are from units based in Smyrna, Jackson and Louisville (LOO'-ihs-vihl), Tenn.
