Georgia-based soldiers killed in Iraq

ATLANTA (AP) - A 23-year-old soldier from Columbus, and a 25-year-old sergeant from South Carolina, both based out of Georgia, have died in a vehicle accident in Iraq.

Department of Defense officials say Spc. Lakeshia M. Bailey died March 8 north of Al Kut, Iraq, of injuries sustained during a vehicle roll-over.

Also killed was Sgt. Aaron M. Arthur, of Lake City, S.C.

They were assigned to the 203rd Brigade Support Battalion, attached to the 1st Battalion, 10th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Benning, Ga.
