CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) One Chattanooga resident has to start over after a fire swept through the home.
This is all that's left of a mobile home on Melanie Lane.
Firefighters say the home caught fire Monday afternoon and they could see heavy plumes of smoke from miles away.
When they got there, it was fully engulfed.
The homeowner got out safely.
The cause of the fire isn't known yet.
There were reports of explosions, firefighters say there were a couple of propane tanks inside the home that may have exploded.
