Authorities in Bryan County try to ID dead man

Associated Press - November 28, 2009 12:24 PM ET

RICHMOND HILL, Ga. (AP) - Authorities in Bryan County are trying to identify a man found dead by the side of a road.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation Agent Micah Ward says a passer-by found the man around 11:20 p.m. Friday along Carter Town Road in Bryan County. Ward says foul play is suspected but wouldn't describe the man's injuries.

Ward describes the man as a white male, between 25 and 30 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds, with very short brown hair and a brown goatee.

Ward says the victim has a number of distinctive tattoos, including a devil and skulls on his back, an evil joker character on his chest and a marijuana leaf on his right leg.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Bryan County Sheriff's Office at 912-756-2105.
