UPDATE: Nov. 20th, 6:15a.m.

A Rhea County man is charged with murdering his friend.

It happened late Wednesday night on Willow Drive.

Marvin Boles is being held without bond.

Police say his friend Stanley Simpson was at Boles' home and they got in a fight.

When Dayton police arrived, they found Simpson stabbed multiple times.

He died at Rhea County Medical Center.

 

DAYTON, TN (WRCB) Dayton City police are investigating stabbing that occurred late Wednesday night.

Dispatch tells Eyewitness News the call came in just before midnight. Police responded to Willow Road where they found a victim stabbed multiple times.

The severity of the wounds is not known at this hour.
