Chick-Fil-A Addresses Business Leaders in Chattanooga

Posted: Updated:

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) It's probably a place where many of you eat a couple, or more, times per month.

Tuesday, the man behind Chick-Fil-A addressed a group of business leaders in Chattanooga.

88-year-old Truett Cathy is known around the country for making his faith the central theme of his business decisions.

"I have never seen any conflict between biblical principals and good business practices. People sometimes tell me they just don't mix. I don't see any other way except mix them."

Chick-Fil-A is closed on Sundays to allow all employees the day off.

Mr. Cathy was the keynote speaker of the YMCA prayer luncheon.

His business advice, "if you do the right thing long enough, the rewards will come."
