CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) If you use the Walnut Street Bridge regularly, you're in for inconvenience starting in December. Councilman Manny Rico tells Eyewitness News, Publics Works will shut down the bridge for repairs, starting December 10th. They expect it to be closed for four to five months. Crews will be working on a part of the bridge that was not included in the major reconstruction which was completed in the early 90's. Once finished, the section will have a wooden walkway like the rest of the bridge
