DADE COUNTY, Ga. (WRCB) - A crash on I-24 shut down eastbound lanes for about an hour and a half Sunday afternoon.
The Georgia Highway Patrol said a truck was going too fast for rainy conditions in a westbound lane of traffic, lost control and hit another vehicle. Both vehicles crossed into the eastbound lanes and struck two more vehicles.
Eastbound traffic was shut down from about 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday.
GHP tell us seven people were injured and some of them were transported to Erlanger. There is no word on their conditions.
