NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Nashville firefighters say a house fire that killed a man in his bed was concentrated in the part of the home where the victim was found.
WKRN-TV quoted District Chief Buddy Byers saying there was nothing firefighters could do to save the man, who the station reported was 57 years old.
The fire was discovered around 6 a.m. CDT Monday in East Nashville.
Byers said the house was filled with smoke when firefighters arrived.
The victim's name was not immediately released.
