CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- Chattanooga police make an arrest in the robbery of "Henry's EZ Liquor" as well as Check Jewelry and Loan.

Police arrested Kevin White on Saturday August 8 during a traffic stop after a patrol officer spotted what they say was the suspect vehicle on E. 10th Street.  Officers say they found evidence of the robberies during the stop. After questioning White, he was charged with two counts of aggravated robbery; one for the EZ Liquor Store on Highway 58 and the other for the Check Jewelry and Loan on Lee Highway.

White had his first appearance in court Wednesday. Sessions Court Judge Clarence Shattuck set his bond at $45,000 for each count and bound his case over to the Hamilton County Grand Jury.

Police are still seeking suspects in the robberies.

CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -- The victim of an armed robbery in Chattanooga is sharing his story, with the hope it will keep these bold criminals from striking again.

Danny Henry owns "Henry's EZ Liquor" on Highway 58, which turned out just to be another easy target.  He was working behind the counter Monday, July 27th around seven p.m., when he says three black men drove up in a white Chevy Impala.  Two of the men stormed inside the store, armed with an assault rifle.

Henry says the crime unfolded in about 45 seconds.  One of his customers was forced on to the floor, and he watched helplessly as the men made off with cash and a bottle of patron.  Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident.

Henry says it's chilling to watch surveillance video from the Check, Jewelry, and Loan.  Like police, he believes the same suspects who robbed the pawn shop this past Tuesday are the ones who robbed his store.  He's asking everyone for help catching these brazen criminals before the hit again.
