MOULTON, Ala. (AP) - Lawrence County authorities say a former Speake High School football coach faces a sex charge for an alleged incident involving a 16-year-old girl.
Sheriff Gene Mitchell said 31-year-old Jason Lyn Gasque of Florence was indicted for first-degree sexual abuse, a felony.
Gasque, who also taught math, was accused of having inappropriate contact with a female juvenile when he was arrested in mid January.
He has remained on administrative leave.
