UPDATE: Crane removed from roofs of Barton Avenue homes, power restored Video included

The crane was wedged into the two homes for about five hours, but once crews were able to harness it the crane was back on the ground in less than 20 minutes.

The White House was put on lockdown Friday after a vehicle struck a security barrier, an official said. NBC officials confirmed that the white Chevy SUV has a Tennessee license plate from Rutherford County.
